While doing research for my blog, I stumbled across a new download portal called Brothersoft. Brothersoft is a large site that includes over 200,000 software downloads across several categories: Security, Audio, Video, Communication, Office tools, Development, Business, Networking and Server, and much more! Brothersoft has something for everyone!
The site is very nicely laid out and you can easily find the software you are looking for, or you can simply browse through the categories mentioned above. What I especially like about Brothersoft is that it has separate software categories for Windows and Mac. As I just bought my first MacBook Pro, I’ll be very interested in searching for new programs in that category.
There are also featured programs and editor’s picks, which are presented in the main window. For example, in the Free Windows programs category, there is the DJ Music Mixer, Download Accelerator, UMPlayer which “plays everything” and the new Maxthon browser.
Brothersoft offers even more: there are Games, Wallpapers, Drivers and News from the IT world. And if that’s not enough, there is even the Mobile category, where you can get many interesting and handy programs and games for your mobile device.
